Chapter 3.0: Xzavier vs. The Wild

Welcome back to Quagmire’s Name Game Challenge. This chapter we’ll be getting into a new generation! So let’s see what Xzavier has instore for us.

Ah the great outdoors, there’s nothing quite like it. The fresh air and beautiful vistas.

Xzavier: Yeah nothing quite like these stink bugs! Natures grrrrrreeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaattttttttt!!!!

Xzavier: Oh hello there! I wasn’t expecting someone to be this far out in the woods.

Alice: Well I live here.

Xzavier: Really! This far out!?

Alice: Yep, I enjoy the solitude the woods, usually, bring.

Xzavier finished his first milestone and is now working on the second. It’s the summer so all the plants should be available but it’s taking a long time for some of them to spawn and I don’t want to spend too much time here as Xzavier needs to have 7 kids, so I’ll see how much I get done in three days.

Xzavier has some down time reading up on his Herbalism skill.

He identified some of the herbs in his inventory.

These two reache friendship status. Xzavier has been able to complete two of the four milestones for his aspiration and all he needs to complete the third milestone is to identify all the plants, which he needs two of. But his three days are up and he needs to get back home.

Though home looks quite different and it’s back in Newcrest. This house I downloaded from the gallery by Maxis. I did change it up a little.

Upon returning home Galaxy’s time is up. Xzavier pleads with grim for more time with his dad, but Grim unceremoniously says no. Despite Ali not putting her food down while her husband, and love of her life passed before her, she is really devastated.

I add a greenhouse for all of Xzavier’s plants and cauldron.

Xzavier sadly dances with his dead Uncle Alexis.

Quemby also makes it out to the club. In my mind they are trying to celebrate Galaxy’s life but can’t quite muster the enthusiasm.

Then this lovely lady appieres. Her name is Uma Fairchild and she is from mojot89’s 100 Baby Challenge over on boolprop.

They chat for a bit then she heads home.

This is the best angle I could get for Alborz’s portrait. He kept moving his head or getting up and I tried several times!

Kit here is trying to level up her robotics skill so she can repair herself as no one in the family has high enough robotics skill.

Xzavier invites Uma over to get to know her better.

The welcome wagon came over and look Eija is here with her husband Mathias Charm! The guy whose face is implanted in Eija’s shoulder is her sister Rez’s husband.

Eija: Hey how are you holding up after your father’s death?

Xzavier: I take it day by day.

Also Quagmire is in the back. Between him being a vampire so long and, I didn’t realize, his household was still selected as playable so he didn’t age too much. But I actually like seeing him around from time to time. He has not remarried.

Kit broke down but luckily you can call the repairman to come fix your servos if you don’t have a sim with a high enough robotics skill.

Uma: What a nice display of family portraits.

As Xzavier was getting to know Uma, Alojzia gets in the middle. Alojzia is now married with twins.

After the welcome wagon went home Xzavier asked Uma out on their very first date. They had their first kiss and he asked her to be his girlfriend and roommate. She said yes to both.

Uma is a Goofball, Lazy and Erratic and aspires to be a Friend of the World.

Ali reached level 10 in cooking +1

Gai: Hey bro your girlfriend is pretty weird.

Xzavier: She’s just unique

Gai: She’s taking a shower in the rain in her birthday suit.

Xzavier: What can I say she’s economical.

I should also mention that Xzavier has a job in the Conservation career. I’m also switching his aspirations around right now he’s working on Angling Ace.

Uma: It’s so nice to meet so many of Xzavi’s siblings!

Gai: *trying desperately to maintain eye contact* Yep there’s sure a lot of us *nervous laughter*

Right now I don’t have Uma in a career but she is writing books. I may have her join the writing career later.

It’s about time to get a start on the next generation.

And we have a success! The first baby of generation three is on it’s way. Since Xzavier is at work she gives Ali the good news that she’s about to be a grandma, again. At this point Alojzia, Lojze and Gai have at least one child.

Since it’s a Night out on the town when Xzavier gets home he downs a potion of plentiful needs and askes Uma out on a date. There he askes her to marry him and she says yes!

I think here is a good place to stop.

But before I do the portraits that were painted this chapter.
